Fundraisers

One of the largest responsibilities of the PTA is to raise funds for the school.  Our fundraising allows us to provide the school with activities, materials, and supplies that would not otherwise be possible.

There are several ways that you can participate in our fundraising efforts:

DILLO Donations

DILLO Donations is our largest fundraiser of the year.  This form of no-hassle fundraising allows us to obtain the funds necessary to meet our budget requirements early in the school year.  We are asking for a monetary donation on the average of $120 per child to meet our budget.  All donations go directly to the PTA and all donations are 100% tax-deductible.

For more information, email dillodonations@hillelementary.com.

 Gift Cards/Dollars for Dillos

If you shop at HEB, Randalls or Starbucks, you can make money for Hill! Simply purchase gift cards at FACE VALUE and spend them like cash. These businesses pay us $4 to $7 for every $100 you buy. For added convenience, you can sign up for a monthly subscription. It’s a free and easy way to give to the school. For more information or to sign up for this program, email dollars4dillos@hillelementary.com.

Community Fundraisers

These are other opportunities to support Hill through offers from businesses.  Identify Hill when you make your purchases at several area retailers, and Hill will receive quarterly checks based on a percentage of total purchases:

  • Randall’s – Attach our Hill #709 to your Remarkable card.
  • Target – Attach our Hill #96093 to your In-Store Credit Card or Target Visa (can be used anywhere).
  • Office Depot = Use our Hill ID #70094716 when purchasing any items (this must be done at every transaction).
  • Casa Chapala – Eat there on Tuesdays and tell your server you are supporting Hill.
  • 1379 – Purchase kids’ shoes and athletic apparel and tell them you support Hill.

Box Tops for Education and Labels for Education

Earn cash for Hill by simply clipping the Box Tops for Education coupons from your favorite products such as General Mills, Pillsbury, Old El Paso, Ziploc and many more!  Go to www.boxtops4education.com for a complete list of participating products. Collect and turn in Box Tops (Hill gets 10 cents for every Box Top).  Submit Box Tops by putting them in a snack-size baggie, or print out a collection sheet and glue your box tops to the collection sheet.  Just make sure to include the student first and last name, grade and teacher with all submitted Box Tops.  Look for the collection bin by the yellow brick wall or the basket in the Hill Office.  Let’s get clipping!   Contact boxtops@hillelementary.com for more information.

Collect and turn in Labels for Education.  Labels are worth 1, 5 or 10 points, which add up to buy education-related merchandise for Hill from the Labels for Education program.  Each Label must include the full UPC code.  Submit Labels (with UPC’s) in a snack-size baggie, again with the student full name, grade and teacher.  Labels should also be submitted to the Box Tops collection bin by the yellow brick wall or the Box Tops basket in the Hill Office.  (Please do not put Labels on a collection sheet.)  Labels and Box Tops can be submitted in the same baggie.  For questions about Box Tops and Labels, contact boxtops@hillelementary.com for more information.

Ink Cartridges

Recycle your used ink cartridges by dropping them in the receptacles near the school office and PTA room, and Hill will receive money from the recycler.

Gift Wrap

Purchase gift wrap through Innisbrook. Although we no longer sell gift wrap as an official school fundraiser, you can still purchase great gift wrap online and support our school. All types of gift wrap can be purchased throughout the year. Just go to www.innisbrook.com and enter our school number 122732.

Search and Give

Earn money for our school while searching the internet. Just go to www.searchandgive.com. This program is sponsored by Microsoft and Scholastic.

Give As You Get

Sit at your computer. Order something from your favorite stores (Amazon, Barnes and Noble, 1-800-Flowers, Target, and many more). Help Hill Elementary School. Heck, you don’t even have to get out of your chair when UPS rings the bell.

Principal's Corner

Dear Hill Families, I hope everyone had a wonderful Spring Break!  I was able to enjoy some time off with my family, traveling to see my 90 year-old grandmother.  Upon our return to school, the students were so excited to share their travels around Texas, the US and the world with us at Assembly.  These [...]
