This is our primary fundraiser for the year. Donations are 100 percent tax-deductible and 100 percent of the donation goes to the school. Sock Hop/Spaghetti Dinner – Friday, September 24, 2010; 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Our annual Sock Hop gives the kids and parents a chance to go back in time and dance the night away! Treat your family to dinner and dessert and then show us your moves on the dance floor as the DJ plays the tunes! There will be dancing lessons and contests so stay tuned for further details! Reflections – TBA
This is a competition sponsored by the national PTA. Students may submit creative works in literature, musical composition, dance choreography, film production, visual arts and photography. Please contact Amy Kulik to help.
Hill Carnival – Saturday, November 6, 2010; 11:00am – 3:00pm
This fundraiser is absolutely the kids’ favorite! You can get scared in the haunted house, slide down the wave, jail your favorite teacher, pet some really cute animals, streak your hair with wild colors, break cascarones over your friends’ heads, eat, drink and be merry! Book Fair – March 7 -11, 2011
Always a blast in the spring, this week-long event not only raises money for the school but promotes reading by allowing the children to shop for their favorite books during school hours. Hill Parent Event – TBA

Sports Day – May 12-13, 2011
Two full days are scheduled every Spring to promote fitness with a variety of activities that are age appropriate. The kids really enjoy these days of friendly class competition and activities. Teacher Appreciation – May 9-13, 2011
As the year winds down, we like to recognize what a wonderful job the teachers do with our kids by doing something special for them. Hill has been recognized for many years as an Exemplary School of Learning by the state of Texas and it is the hard work of our excellent staff that makes this achievement possible year after year. The kids love bringing the teachers flowers, making them cards and gifts, and the teachers really enjoy their lunch out.
